It all started at a small tri-weekly newspaper in Pinole, California. Since that day in November of 1985 I have been making my
living as a professional photographer. Back then it was mostly black and white photography, then came color, and now it's digital. <br>
One thing hasn't changed in those 25 years of capturing moments, the most important element of great photography isn't
the film, the lens, or the memory card, it's the photographer standing behind the camera.<br>

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do your packages include prints?
You will receive an 11" x 14" proof book with a custom cover when you purchase any of the packages. You will also receive
a CD/DVD of optimized jpg files that you can take to the photo finisher of your choice and have an unlimited amount of prints made.
Do we get the full size image files or reduced size?
Some wedding photographers provide their clients with only low resolution image files suitable for 4x6 prints or for emailing to friends.
The image files you receive from me will be full-resolution files that can be used for reprinting of enlargements as well as any size in between.
You will also receive down sized jpg images that you can conveniently email to your friends.
Are you digital or film? What equipment do you use?
I am 100 percent digital. Digital allows me more freedom, faster response, and the ability to rely less on the flash in low light indoor weddings.
I use the latest 8 mega pixel Canon SLRs and I bring at least 3 cameras to each wedding with full complement of professional lenses and flashes.
Do you offer black and white as well as color?
Yes. I feel that converting some of the images to black and white emphasizes the people along with the mood and excitement of the wedding.
Will you take posed formal shots of our family and friends?
While the majority of the photographs taken by me will be spontaneous and in a photojournalistic style, traditional formal portraits of you,
your family and friends are a must and I will happily take them for you.
If I decide to book you, what's next?
When you decide to hire me, you will sign a wedding photography contract. A $500 retainer due at the time of signing is required to
reserve your wedding date. The retainer is applied toward the balance of the package. I only photograph one wedding per day
and I reserve dates on a first come, first serve basis.
